Janice Kamenir-Reznik
Janice Kamenir-Reznik is Co-Founder and President of Jewish World Watch. Janice is a lawyer (JD, UCLA, 1982) who practiced environmental real estate law for more than two decades, first as a managing partner of Reznik & Reznik, and then with Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro, LLP. Janice has always been active in many community organizations. She served as the Director of the Commission on Soviet Jewry, President of California Women Lawyers, trustee of the LA County Bar, and as a County Commissioner. As Chair of the LA County Judicial Procedures Commission, Janice was a key player in starting the Self Help Legal Access Centers for unrepresented litigants, which now serve tens of thousands of poor litigants annually. Janice has been an active lay leader of UCLA Hillel for more than three decades; she recently spearheaded the building of the new UCLA Hillel Itzchak Rabin Center for Jewish Life. Janice is a long-time member of Valley Beth Shalom and has been inspired by Rabbi Harold Schulweis throughout her adult life. Her greatest joy in the community has been her close association with Rabbi Schulweis in bringing Jewish World Watch to fruition. Janice has been married for 36 years to her long-time law partner, Benjamin M. Reznik, and together they have three adult children, Yoni, Devi and Sami.
